Safety Staff

It is critical to us at Lindy Focus that we are advised and assisted by paid qualified professionals for everything relating to event safety, including the crafting and enforcement of our code of conduct, event-wide inclusion practices, and crisis management.  Last year's Safety Liaison, Marley Hirsch, is still with us and reachable here. In the coming weeks we will introduce you to the rest of the team!

Also, we invite you to learn about our One Year Plan for all things safety-related.

Marley Hirsch is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. She obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Biopsychology/Neuroscience from Oglethorpe University and her Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. She has extensive experience working with clients from a wide variety of backgrounds and presenting concerns, including personality disorders, mood disorders, survivors of abuse and domestic violence, past or present suicidal or self-harming behaviors, the LGBTQIA+ population, children in foster care, and those experiencing international and multicultural challenges. Marley began swing dancing in 2013 and joined the Lindy Focus team in 2015. She is incredibly excited to be a part of the event again this year; please ask her to dance!
