Safety Staff

It is critical to us at Lindy Focus that we are advised and assisted by paid qualified professionals for everything relating to event safety, including the crafting and enforcement of our code of conduct, event-wide inclusion practices, and crisis management.  Last year's Safety Liaison, Marley Hirsch, is still with us and reachable here. In the coming weeks we will introduce you to the rest of the team!

Also, we invite you to learn about our One Year Plan for all things safety-related.

Guy Morganstein
"I have been involved in dancing for much of my adult life.  I got involved in contra dancing in my early 20s, and through contra dance weekends, got exposed to swing dancing, as well as Cajun and Zydeco dancing, and have been dancing and playing music for dancing ever since.  I have attended Lindy Focus on several occasions.  I am very excited to be part of the Safety team this year.  I have been working as a mental health and substance abuse therapist for my whole adult life, having worked in schools, community mental health centers, and for the past 9 years, in private practice. I work with individuals, couples, and families.  Helping people learn how to manage conflict and creating a safe place to express themselves is one of my passions. "
